# Floe for Mac

> Floe is a native macOS window manager by Oktay Kırık for window snapping, tiling, custom layouts, and shared resizing.

Floe helps arrange several application windows in a desktop workspace. Drag a
window to the top of the screen to choose a space in Snap Bar. Snap Assist lets
you select other open windows to fill the remaining spaces. Moving a shared
divider resizes neighboring windows together. Custom layouts, customizable
keyboard shortcuts, and display-specific preferences support laptop,
ultrawide, and portrait monitor setups.

Floe requires macOS 15 or later and supports Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
Accessibility permission is required to move and resize other apps' windows.
Screen Recording permission is optional and used only for still window
thumbnails in Snap Assist. Full-screen windows are excluded, other Spaces stay
separate, and applications can impose minimum window sizes.

The public download includes a free 7-day trial starting at first launch, with
no payment required. A USD 9.99 one-time perpetual license covers two active
Macs. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout. Paid activation requires
Floe 1.0.22 or later. Window management pauses after the trial until a license
is activated; Settings remains accessible. Reinstalling does not reset the trial.

Floe is a direct DMG download, signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
It is not distributed through the Mac App Store. Website desktop scenes are
interactive product illustrations, not recordings of the installed app.
Window content, previews, layouts, and preferences stay on the Mac. Licensing
uses Lemon Squeezy, update checks use GitHub, and automatic crash and hang
diagnostics go through Sentry, as described in the privacy policy.
