MediaRoll Support

For help, bug reports, or purchase questions, email oktay.kirik@icloud.com. Include your macOS version, MediaRoll version, and the steps that led to the issue. Please do not send private media unless you choose to share a sample.

Open a file, browse its folder

Use Finder → Open With → MediaRoll, drag a file into the window, or press ⌘O. Arrow keys browse supported media in the same folder. If browsing is restricted, use Allow Folder to grant access. The app scans the immediate folder only.

Trial and purchases

Use MediaRoll → MediaRoll Access to start the free 30-day trial or buy Lifetime Unlock. The trial does not charge automatically. Use Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account after reinstalling or on another Mac. A one-time purchase is required after the trial for opening media and starting new browsing or editing tasks.

Editing and formats

Preview edits stay in the current viewer session. Export a copy before closing the viewer. Export supports JPEG, PNG, and HEIC where macOS provides an encoder. Common image, video, and audio types are supported; codec support depends on macOS. RAW and PDF are excluded.
