MediaRoll

Terms of Use

Effective October 13, 2026. MediaRoll is provided by Oktay KIRIK. Contact: oktay.kirik@icloud.com.

App Store license

The Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs your license to the Mac App Store version of MediaRoll. These product terms describe its features and purchase model and do not replace that agreement or your statutory consumer rights.

Trial and Lifetime Unlock

MediaRoll offers a free 30-day trial through an App Store non-consumable purchase. The trial starts when you activate it, not when you download the app. Its original transaction date determines its duration, including after reinstalling. It does not automatically convert to a paid purchase.

After the trial, opening media and starting new browsing or editing tasks requires a one-time Lifetime Unlock purchase. The App Store shows the current local price before you buy. There is no recurring subscription. You may finish exporting edits already open in the current session. Your original files are not removed when access ends.

Lifetime Unlock grants access to the purchased app’s functionality without a recurring fee. It is not a promise of perpetual support, compatibility with every future operating system, or entitlement to separate products. Purchases may be restored with the same Apple Account. Apple handles billing and refund requests under its applicable terms; a refunded or revoked purchase may remove access.

Your files

You are responsible for having permission to use the files you open. MediaRoll does not provide a media library or downloads from third-party services. Preview edits are temporary and must be exported before closing the viewer. Export creates a copy at the selected destination; replacing an existing file requires the system confirmation. Keep backups of important files.

Compatibility

MediaRoll requires macOS 14 or newer. Supported formats and codecs depend on macOS and installed encoders. It does not support every media format, camera RAW, or PDF. Recoverable errors may occur with damaged files or unsupported codecs.

Privacy and support

See our Privacy Policy for local processing and diagnostics. For assistance see Support. Changes to these terms will be published here with an updated effective date.
